A weekend hosted by the brilliant Lynne Truss was another one of those gigs to die for. Harry has always loved Lynne's work - "from 'Eats Shoots & Leaves', her brilliant sports columns in the Times and hilarious BBC monologues she really is genius. To appear on the same bill was great, but in a dreamy castle on the banks of Loch Ness was simply amazing!" Harry is the perfect after-dinner cabaret, not only the jaw-dropping virtuoso and witty patter, but every event will be truly bespoke as Harry will tailor an exclusive improvised programme based on your requests. Keyboard genius!
Harry was recently invited by Petroc Trelawny, voice of BBC Radio 3, onto his 'Performance on 3' show. Subtitled 'Proms Preview' it was a look ahead to the upcoming highlights of this years famous promenade concerts in London's Albert Hall with guests Katie Derham, the BBC TV face of the festival and Roger Wright, director of the 2010 season. Introducing Harry as 'a keyboard genius and legendary figure in the music world' Petroc then challenged him to play some Mahler in the style of Irving Berlin - two composers featured in the Proms this year. Have a listen below. (This clip and Harry's other pieces on the show can be heard on the dedicated BBC radio player on the listen page).
